Scene starts with the flashback to the Tezuka vs Ryoma match in the very beginning. I guess the manga never showed the match. They face off at the net.

Tezuka: Can we start?
Ryoma: Go ahead.

Tezuka gets ready to serve and tells Ryoma to use everything that he's got. Ryoma replies, "Even if you didn't mention it, I would've done that anyway."

Service Ace and Ryoma comments how the ball suddenly went faster. He looks back to Tezuka who has a very determined/serious face on and Ryoma gets into his serious mode too. The two play while Oishi watches from behind a pillar (he's in street clothes btw).

Ryoma misses the ball and is kneeling on the floor, panting.

Tezuka: What about it Echizen. Try and defeat me.

The scene switches back to the present Sanada vs Ryoma match. Sanada returns the ball and gets a point. While he's returning, he's thinking about what he's seen.

Sanada: /What......What I saw in front of my eyes... is actually a samurai...!?/
Sanada: /What a joke. How can I see something like that! Enough. This time we'll decide the victor and loser!!/

Sanada: You are strong! Is this experiencing the men who fight fiercely at the Nationals!! (durr I know this sounds weird e_e but the chinese clauses make it seem weird)

15-15!!

Kachirou brings Rikkai fans great news. :B

Kachirou: Oh no. If he lose 3 more points, Ryoma will lose the match. He worked hard to get to this part.

Ryoma pants heavily and thinks, I won't lose!

Flashed back to the Tezuka vs Ryoma match again.

I won't lose.

Tezuka: /Yes it's just like this. Your true power shouldn't only be this----/
Tezuka: /Tap into your latent power./
Tezuka: /As expected of Echizen. You're truly very strong!/
Tezuka: /However, if you're at this level, you won't win at the Nationals./
Tezuka: /Come at me!/
Tezuka: /Hit a ball that I definitely cannot return!!/
Tezuka: /Come at me!/
Tezuka: /And then...improve yourself more, Echizen!!/

Tezuka notices something and is surprised. He sees Samurai Nanjirou (or just a samurai >_> but it looks like young Nanjirou) across the net.

Tezuka: ...Samurai...!?

Ryoma prepares to return the ball... hits it and says something .... which I can't read because the chinese version is missing the last page. XD;;;

Well I knew about the Tezuka match overlapping the Sanada from Kobashi's very brief summary. So my freak out session has already passed. Now I'm just filled with both elation and dread. ;o;

First the good part. Sanada is down 3 points from total victory. OMG SO CLOSE. GO SANADA GOOOOOOO T______________T

Now the bad, dreadful feeling that I got after I learned that they overlapped Tezuka's match. Will Konomi show Ryoma losing twice? It just looks WORSE this way when you have two matches overlapped and he ends up losing in both of them. Is Konomi trying to show the readers how Ryoma has evolved since he played Tezuka... But this is no ordinary National-level player! He is THE STRONGEST and he's the Koutei for a reason! Like....dammit Konomi. You better be using the Tezuka vs Ryoma match to show that Ryoma is still mada mada dane! GOD I hate ambiguous plot devices like this.

Whatever. I'm going to stop trying to get into Konomi's head. I just hope he knows what's best for this series. e_e;

GOOOO SANADA!!!! I hope this doesn't drag out longer because of the overlapping matches. e_e;
