| Genius 229
So I finally read the chinese Genius 229 from Jojohot.com. I am still surprised how similar Sanada and Akaya are. I mean I noticed the things underneath (their firey passions) but I never thought Sanada would share Akaya's ... viciousness/brutality? Or is this Konomi trying to get sympathy for Ryoma? >_> But what Renji thought really stuck with me: "Are you going to mercilessly destroy that ichinen's future?" Wiping the floor with Ryoma's ass, I like. Destroying the boy's future? That I am a bit wary of... does this mean that Sanada has a vicious streak like Akaya with hurting his opponents? Quite frankly, I'm getting scared of the Dork-sama in this match. --; Though I doubt Ryoma is wimpy enough to let Sanada destroy his future. But I'm sure an ass-whupping is still in order for the brat? :D?? But did you see the strutting!Sanada on page 3?! I can see it better now when I have a bigger scan of the page. XDD He's like doing the model walk. ;o; XDDDDDD Chinese fans were like "Koutei was dancing...ballet dancing!" *dies* OMG this makes me think of Zoolander. T_______T;;;;;; That pose is SO the Zoolander catwalk pose. *DIES* Ok Dork-sama is less scarier now. His dorkiness NEVER LEAVES HIM. XDDDDD All dorkiness aside, Sanada is serious about this match to use two Fuurinkazan moves on one opponent. Though I think revenge plays a part too to make up for the 2 losses. Or maybe he wants to end the tournament as fast as possible so he can be there for Yukimura's surgery. I'm trying to recall the scenario from AniPuri but I can't remember... if anyone remembers at which point Ryoma makes a comeback, I would appreciate it. Ryoma is down 3 games to a tie. His comeback time is coming in the next chapter. He still has Cool Drive. His comeback also coincides with TeniPuri's anniversary and color pages (coincidence? >_>). However Sanada still has Rin and Zan. If Ryoma do use Cool Drive, shouldn't the Zan defend against it? Ryoma would have to win 5 games in a row to beat Sanada, which won't happen as the final score will most probably NOT be 6-4 Ryoma. Best scenario is that Sanada breaks through Cool Drive easily and wins the game quickly. Long but still good scenario is that Ryoma starts making his comeback, gets to a tie but can't make it through to two games and thus loses but at a really close score. Bad scenario is that it's a very close game but Ryoma wins. Worst scenario would be from 4-1 Sanada, Ryoma comes back to win the game at 6-4. >_> Echizen, you must lose! >_< Still, I'm quite happy that we're seeing new sides to Rikkai from these chapters. I'm hoping for some more flashback scenes. :3~ Though if Konomi spent so much time/effort/pre-planning on Rikkai, they must be an integral part of the plot. If Rikkai gets ruled out at Kantou, then what's the point of introducing the champions so early on? Why not introduce them at Nationals? Though having Fudomine vs Seigaku at semifinals would be kinda....err --; I just hope that Rikkai serves as the school that defeats the main school but helps it grow from that experience. |
