Starts off 2-1 Sanada, then 3-1 Sanada. Though I have a bad feeling that Ryoma is going to evolve into Ryoma SSJ lv 2. ;o; Sanada is SNARKY.

OMG ;o; They made Sanada so scary in this (what was that look after the Grand Smash??!). ;o; He's like the BIG BAD BUNNY GEN-CHAN!!! FEAR! And I thought the antagonization of Rikkai was only in AniPuri. >_> Yay we get to see Grand Smash Sanada version. :O Apparently it's the "Fire". Sanada quoted Sun Zi!!!111oneone FANBOY? I think so! I still think Grand Smash looks like AniPuri's Cyclone Smash... It has a black motion thingy instead of white. Oh teh special. ;o; 4-1 Sanada.

I think Sanada has gone bonkers. ;o; That laugh was terrifying. I think Konomi wants to get pity for Ryoma because omfg he's going against such a big, bad, terrifying DEMON.

Still waiting for the chinese version to fully come out (7 pages so far ;o;) so I can find out what the dialogues are. But so far Sanada is SNARKY. girltypefuuma, you were right about the snarky part. XD So insightful. I wonder if Akaya picked up his omfgscaryoni mode from Sanada. ;o;

Chapter ends with a scary picture of Sanada. ;o; Not exactly how I pictured him to be, Konomi!!

And the ad for the new PoT boy band scares me. Sanada in a boyband with Atobe, Akaya, Oshitari, Shinji and Sengoku. omfg where the hell did they get this lineup?!! Do they even harmonize?!! *smashes something* They have a fucked up name too. >_> In the end, I still like Aozu the best.

I was finally able to read 228 with the good old Chinese-English dictionary. Which means I finally understood Inui's commentary.

Inui was talking about how Sanada's "Fuu" is like the Battousai in kendo. petronia had a better explanation on that since I'm not familiar with kendo techniques. However I do know that battousai is the technique that Kenshin uses... XD

He goes on explaining that the technique is that you leave the sword in the sheathe and then draw it out quickly. Thus the momentum allows you to get a high speed cut. So the way to beat it is to hit the ball back before the opponent swings back to the original position.

If you noticed from the previous chapter or panels, Sanada stands there in neutral position (like Eiji in I Formation) until the ball is close enough for hitting. So he swings and the ball comes back while his arm is still across his chest. That breaks the Fuu position so Sanada is unable to return Ryoma's ball with another Fuu, thus Ryoma was able to get a Drive B in. Aha, I was right that Ryoma sealed Fuu. ;o;

Sanada almost looked smug because he had Ka ready. Sanada's "FUHAHAHAHAHA" laugh still scares me. ;o; Never thought he would laugh like that... though it does remind me of the laugh Han Wudi has from Han Emperor! Rikkai cheers and Seigaku is scared out of their pants. Just look at the Ichinen Trio. ;o;

Then Inoue says something omnious...again.

Inoue: He can't win. Apparently it's still too early Ryuzaki-sensei. It's destroyed Ryoma-kun.

and then Sanada says something snarky to Ryoma:

"You can accompany despair and be beaten into a million pieces!"

Ahh... I see now. I overlooked the explanation about Takeda Shingen where his flag had "Fuurinkazan" which is why I didn't get why the Chinese fan commented about Takeda Shingen. Hmm interestinggggggg. Oh Konomi-sensei, please let Sanada make a reference to Sanada Yukimura. ;o; PLEASE??? That would be too cool.

I wonder how Ryoma is going to seal Ka...or if he can even seal it considering how it can break your racket. However, it makes me wonder if Renji and Atobe were able to seal it because they had problems with the Rin and Zan respectively.

But perhaps Sanada was looking so scary because it's Ka and "raiding and plundering" (from one translation) is supposed to be scary? ;o; At first I misread and thought it said "raping and plundering" which led me to say "Sanada is ASS RAPING you Ryoma!!111"... yeah... well anyway Ryoma is getting ass rapage so far. We'll have to wait and see later! Hopefully this match won't be 1+ volumes long. >_>;
