For the sakura challenge at You Got Gay?. By the way, do you notice the tennis ball? Yeah. I don't think...I've ever put this much effort into a picture before or took this long. I'm breaking my own records! The Sanada birthday picture has nothing on this because the focus was his face only and his clothing was black so I didn't have to worry too much about shading. But this. Guh, the blazers. I'm so proud of them because I didn't want to do flat coloring for once. I wanted to try the style of coloring that Licht and e-r. I am pretty content with a first attempt. Yuki's sleeves are my favorite parts. Also opted for the dark blue blazer instead of a puke green because in the trading cards, their blazers appear blue-ish green. I just chose a more blue version of that. I'm very satisfied with their expressions. Yuki has that "come hither" look and Sanada is blushy and shocked. XD And man, Yuki's hands. Took forever on those because I'm horrible with hands. u_u Yuki's hair was a bitch to do too... u_u I tried to reuse the hair coloring style from his birthday picture but that didn't work out. Though I am happy with what I have right here. Messed around with leveling to make his hair...glow and I don't know, I really like the effect because he looks ethereal. XD; process: |
